Per The Book of Boba Fett’s first trailer, the series will pick up where Fett and Fennec’s story left off at the end of The Mandalorianseason 2. Though no official episode count has been released yet, reports of both a four-episode and an eight-episode run have surfaced since the show was announced.
The new Disney+ series stars Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, with Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau producing and directing alongside Robert Rodriguez and Bryce Dallas Howard. Sorting out when The Book of Boba Fett takes place in the Star Wars timeline can be a little complicated.
